Application settings

The Settings.ini parameters are enlisted along with the section under which it belongs.

Section [ApplicationSettings]
m_bAllowItineraryEdit true defines whether the itineraries can be edited by drivers. Use false=0 only when itineraries are imported by API functions
m_dGPSforwardTime 1.0 Special settings for Gps prediction in seconds, max 2.5 (Please use the default value, change it in case of latency of gps positioning only)
m_bHideSpcams false defines whether the Speedcam service should be available or not.
m_lInstructionDistance 5000 defines the distance in meters at which the instruction should be first spoken before meneuver
m_bLocalTraffic - defines the filtering for traffic mode.
If set to 1 only the currect GPS surrounding traffic events will be downloaded.
If set to 0 possibly all traffic events will be downloaded.
m_nLogisticMode -1 defines whether the Logistic mode (using truck attributing) will be enabled (value 1) or disabled (value 0).
m_bMapChange false Use these settings (true=1 or false=0) to show or hide "Map downloader" menu
m_bMySygic true Use these settings (true=1 or false=0) to show or hide "Map Sygic" menu in order to purchase or download additional products/components
m_bOffroadOn true enable the visualization function of backtrack navigation when is offroad
m_bPedestrian true defines whether the Pedestrain mode is also available within the Sygic navigation.
m_ePowerExternal PowerOptimized Power saving mode when plugged, the values are PowerSaver/PowerOptimized/PowerPerformance
m_ePowerBattery PowerOptimized Power saving mode when run on battery, the values are PowerSaver/PowerOptimized/PowerPerformance
m_dwTrafficDistance - The parameter which defines the radius of traffic events for download when m_bLocalTraffic=1.
It is the distance in meters defining circle from a current position.
m_bUseKalman true Special settings for GPS receiver (Please use the default value, any change of this value consult with support, please)
Section [HardwareSettings]
m_bSetBackgroundRun false Defines (value=1) whether navigation with voice instructions runs also when navigation is put to background, for example when driver makes a phone call
Section [RuntimeSettings]
m_bAppTopMost true The value 1 defines that no other application will appear above navigation.
You need to set it to 0 if you want other appplication (e.g. MP3 player) to be displayed above navigation window when necessary.
m_strBackButton   defines the application (by package name) which will be started after pushing the back button
onBackBtn   sets the behaviour of hardware back button of your device (minimize|disable|exit)
in case of exit option the behavior is refined by the m_bSetShowExitMsg setting
m_bHasBattery true if set to 1, battery sign will be displayed in status bar and battery management in menu will be enabled.
m_bSetHasClock true value=1 means the device does have internal clock source ( default), value=0 means compute clock from GPS GMT time and specified timezone
m_bHideTeaser false this setting hides (value=1) the teaser at the start of the application
m_arrShowTeaser 1,3 array of enabled teasers (RatingTeaser = 1, TrafficTeaser = 2, ScreenSaverTeaser = 3, LastDestinationTeaser = 4, LowFuelTeaser = 5)

m_strDrvDevice Default\\Device.dll Use this setting to change the default device identifier. Please don´t change this value without consulting Sygic
m_bSetKeybListAsk true 1 defines that keyboard selection dialog appears at the initial start of Sygic navigation,
or 0 means it will be silently preset by the parameter m_lSetKeybList.
m_strSetKeybTypeRoman QWERTY selects the keyboard variant for the Roman keyboard type.
The available values are: QWERTY, QWERTZ or AZERTY
m_bNoDialogOnStart false Value 1 means that no interrogating questions appear at start, like activation when in trial, safety message, etc.
m_lProcessorUsage 0 the value in the range 0-90, which defines the percentage restriction of maximally available frame-per-second (FPS).
This way it is possible to spare processor performance a the expense of less smooth visualisation during navigation.
m_strProductName   The string defines the product name, which appears in About dialog.
m_nScreenSaver -1 defines Screen saver behavior on highways, possible values are -1 (Always Ask, default), 0 (Off), 1 (On)
m_dwScreenSaverTimeout 10000 defines screen saver timeout in miliseconds
m_strSetContentPath /../../../../Maps/World defines the relative path where the navigation license folder is located.
By default it should be /../Maps.
m_bSetInternet true The value 1 defines that the Sygic services requiring internet will be enabled (e.g. traffic, weather).
The value 0 means that all internet connected servises will be disabled.
m_strSetLanguage autodetect defines the initially set language.
E.g. english.lang defines british english. Alternativelly it is possible to set autodetect
m_bSetLanguageAsk true 1 defines that language selection dialog appears at the initial start of Sygic navigation,
or 0 means it will be silently preset by the parameter m_strSetLanguage.
m_lSetKeybList 1 the value defines initially set keyboard.
The available values are: 1=ROMAN 2=CYRILLIC 3=GREEK 4=ARABIC 5=HEBREW 6=THAI 7=JAPANESE 8=CHINESE 9=KOREAN
m_strSetMapPath /../../../../Maps/World defines the relative path where the navigation Maps folder is located.
By default it should be: /../Maps.
m_bSetOnlineAsk true defines whether at the initial start of Sygic navigation a user will be prompted to enable or disable internet connectivity. The value 0 means the internet connectivity will be silently preset by the parameter m_bSetInternet.
m_bSetShowEula true If 1 it shows EULA info with each application start. 0 means EULA is disabled. Btw, the EULA is still accessible through Settings -> About dialog.
m_bSetShowExitMsg true value=1 defines the exit message is shown with exit
m_bSetShowSafetyMsg true If 1 it shows safety message with each application start. 0 means this messaging is disabled.
m_bSetShowUserDetail false This setting hides email registration form
m_strSetResourcePath /../../../../Res defines the relative path where the navigation Res folder is located.
By default it should be: /../Res.
m_strSetTimezone +01:00_a defines the timezone in the form like "+hh:mm_x"
m_strSetVoice autodetect defines the initially set voice.
Non-TTS voice are set with a language name like "german"
TTS voice can be set like "TTS American English,Dave". For autodetection set "autodetect"
m_bSetVoiceAsk true 1 defines that voice selection dialog appears at the initial start of Sygic navigation,
or 0 means it will be silently preset by the parameter m_strSetVoice.
m_bSetUnitAsk true 1 defines that measure unit selection dialog (e.g. kilometers or miles) appears at the initial start of Sygic navigation,
or 0 means it will be silently preset by the parameter m_strSetUnit.
m_bTravelbook true defines whether the Travlebook function will be enabled (value 1) or disabled (value 0).
Section [UnitSettings]
m_eClockFormat ClockEurope select clock format type, possible values are Europe (UnitSettings::ClockEurope), U.K. (UnitSettings::ClockUk) or U.S. (UnitSettings::ClockUs)
m_eDistanceUnits UnitsKilometers select distance unit metrics, possible values are kilometers (UnitSettings::UnitsKilometers), yards (UnitSettings::UnitsMilesYards) or feet (UnitSettings::UnitsMilesFeets)
m_eGPSUnits GpsDegrees select gps unit metrics, possible values are degrees (UnitSettings::GpsDegrees), or minutes/seconds (UnitSettings::GpsMinutes)
m_eTemperatureUnits TempCelsius select temperature unit metrics, possible values are celsius (UnitSettings::TempCelsius), or fahrenheits (UnitSettings::TempFarenheit)
Section [DisplaySettings]
m_bAutoZoom true defines the on/off option for auto zooming during navigation
m_eColorScheme ColorSchemeAutomatic defines the option for color scheme, possible values are: DisplaySettings::ColorSchemeDay, DisplaySettings::ColorSchemeNight, or DisplaySettings::ColorSchemeAutomatic
m_bDataCounter true defines the show/hide option for data counter
m_bFullscreen false defines the show/hide option for the full screen (reserved)
m_bFriends true defines the show/hide option for friends/workmates component
m_bJunctionView true defines the show/hide option for junction view
m_eLaneAssist LaneAssistEnhanced defines the option for displaying lane assist, possible values are: DisplaySettings::LaneAssistOff, DisplaySettings::LaneAssistMinimized, DisplaySettings::LaneAssistEnhanced
m_eMapView MapView3D defines the option for displaying map view, possible values are: DisplaySettings::MapView2D or DisplaySettings::MapView3D
m_nNextStreet 950 defines the distance in meters at which next street information is displayed
m_nNextStreetFinish 100 defines the distance in meters at which next street information is cleared
m_bOffRoad true defines the show/hide option for the offroad indication
m_bRadars true defines the show/hide option for radars display
m_bRailway true defines the show/hide option for railway crossing display
m_eSignPostInfo SignPostFull defines the option for displaying sign post information, possible values are: DisplaySettings::SignPostOff, DisplaySettings::SignPostMinimized, DisplaySettings::SignPostFull
m_bSpeedLimits true defines the show/hide option for speed limit display
m_eTownblocksMode TownBlocksAuto defines the option for displaying townblocks, possible values are: DisplaySettings::TownBlocksAuto, DisplaySettings::TownBlocksOn, DisplaySettings::TownBlocksOff
Section [TruckSettings]
m_bAdvancedTruck false Value=1 enables dialog with advanced truck settings
m_bAvoidParkways false value=1 avoids crossing the parkways
m_arrDimensionalRestrictions 10000,5000,0,0,0,0,10000,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,2450,3000 defines the presetting of the complete set of the vehicle attributes in the following sequence:
  • 1) Total weight [kg]
  • 2) Axle weight [kg]
  • 3) Tandem weight [kg]
  • 4) Tridem weight [kg]
  • 5) Other weight [kg]
  • 6) Unladen weight [kg]
  • 7) Total lenght [mm]
  • 8) Axle lenght [mm]

m_dwMaxSpeed 1440 defines the vehicle maximal speed limit. The value is specified in km/h x 16 (for example 90km/h=1440). For mph values it is required to convert into km/h
m_bUseTruckAtt true the value=1 allows use of truck attributes (In truck navigation this value is allowed by default)
Section [PlanningSettings]
m_eAvoidTollRoadsSettings AvoidTollroadsNo defines the option for avoidance of toll roads, possible values are: PlanningSettings::AvoidTollroadsNo, PlanningSettings::AvoidTollroadsYes, PlanningSettings::AvoidTollroadsAsk
m_eAvoidMotorwaysSettings AvoidMotorwaysNo defines the option for avoidance of motorways, possible values are: PlanningSettings::AvoidMotorwaysNo, PlanningSettings::AvoidMotorwaysYes, PlanningSettings::AvoidMotorwaysAsk
m_eAvoidFerriesSettings AvoidFerriesNo defines the option for avoidance of ferries, possible values are: PlanningSettings::AvoidFerriesNo, PlanningSettings::AvoidFerriesYes, PlanningSettings::AvoidFerriesAsk
m_eAvoidUnPavedRoadsSettings AvoidUnPavedroadsYes defines the option for avoidance of unpaved roads, possible values are: PlanningSettings::AvoidUnPavedroadsNo, PlanningSettings::AvoidUnPavedroadsYes, PlanningSettings::AvoidUnPavedroadsAsk
bComputeAlternatives false defines whether multiple routing altrenatives should be disaplyed when route calculation.
The value 1 means offering multiple routing alternatives, the value 0 means the single route calculated.
m_bDestInDrivingSide false value=1 defines whether the destination will be located on the driving side, 0 otherwise
m_ETollcostVehicleSettings Car defines the option for the vehile type with respct to toll cost rules, possible values are: PlanningSettings::Truck, PlanningSettings::Car, PlanningSettings::Van
m_eRouteComputingSettings RouteFastest defines the option for route calculation, possible values are: PlanningSettings::RouteComputingSettings:RouteFastest, PlanningSettings::RouteComputingSettings:RouteShortest, PlanningSettings::RouteComputingSettings:Economical
m_eVehicleTypeSettings eCar defines the option for route calculation, possible values are: PlanningSettings::VehicleTypeSettings:eTruck, PlanningSettings::VehicleTypeSettings:eCar, PlanningSettings::VehicleTypeSettings:ePedestrian

m_bSideBar false value=1 defines whether the sidebar is enabled
Section [OnlineSettings]
m_bFBConnected false defines whether the facebook connection is enabled (1) or disabled (0)
m_bFloatingCarData true help improve service with FCD data
m_bFlurry true help improve service with flurry data
m_bGoogleConnected false defines whether the google service is enabled (1) or disabled (0)
m_nMapUpdateNotifications 0 defines whether the Map updates notification is enabled (1) or disabled (0)

m_bAutomaticRouteRecomputing false value=1 allows automatic route recomputing after TMC update (reserved)
m_bShowTrafficInfoOnMap true defines whether to visualize TMC events on map or not
m_wTrafficTeaser 1 defines the value of traffic purchase teasers invocations, e.g. 10 (reserved)
m_bUpdateAutomatically true defines whether TMC update is done automatically ore requires user confirmation (reserved)
